I am fairly happy with my new kitty box. My cats are 10-12 lbs and a couple of times they have walked straight in and then peed on the pad outside of the box. I wish it was slightly longer but who knew that would happen. I like the foldable lid which I have been keeping open to give them more space to turn around so their butt is in the back, not sticking out the front of box. LOVE that it's lined! Clean ups will be way easier now.
The most unpleasant thing about cats in the house is the litter box. Their modkat boxes make it much better. We have three cats and three boxes. They poop, we scoop.
These are the greatest litterboxes. They are enclosed, but leaving half the top open doesn't make our cats feel cornered. Great product.
I like the concept, but the charcoal bits are larger than expected, and they do not fall thru the openings in our scooper. They are a little over 1/8" dia x about 3/8" to 1/2" long, so they just sit in the scooper and either need to be knocked out, or thrown away with the dirty stuff. Bummer
Not much to say, the type C-liners work as intended and are well made.
After trying so many litter boxes through Amazon. I am so happy I don’t have to buy another one ever again. The liner is a game changer. Leak proof and odor proof. 10/10
It was love at first sight! So over the plastic litter boxes with no liners or anything. The one I had was starting to smell really bad regardless of cleaning it and it was time for a change. This litter box fix perfectly in my space and my cat immediately fell in love with it!! Highly recommend
I'm one of those cat parents that love their cats but will not spend +$500 on an automatic litterbox. I am VERY happy with the Modkat XL litter box!! The cats took to it immediately, which is new. I love this litter box
We have 5 cats. I heard about Modcat on Wirecutter and decided to try one. It is fantastic. Easy to clean. Sturdy, etc. Cats like it. I am in the process of replacing all of our litter boxes with Modcats.
I had to have my litter box in full view in my apartment. I picked this black one that seems to not look so “litter box” and it fits in quite well without looking so obvious. Very happy with my purchase and Ivy seems to like it too!
We got a new cat who likes to kick her litter around, so we tried this box with its high sides. She took to it immediately and the sides contain quite a bit of the mess. The liner makes it really easy to clean the chunks that gather in the bottom. I think this has been a good solution for all of us!
I have two cats, one of my kitties was having issues with high peeing and peeing outside the litterbox. I was constantly cleaning up his accidents daily. I'd been searching for a solution and what could help. We tried this litterbox so that an enclosed area would prevent the accidents and it fixed it! We kept the top entrance closed so my kitties just use the front one to reduce room for accidents. He hasnt had one since, it's amazing!!!! Worth every penny.
I already had a Modkat XL litter box, but wanted a second box for my new kitten that was not quite as large. Very satisfied with quality, size, and style. Wouldn’t want my cats using anything that didn’t look great and was functional as well!
So glad I decided to spend a bit more and purchase the litter box for XL cats - it's such an upgrade! I'm really happy with it.
These liter boxes are wonderful for containing messy kitties. T bought two and love them and highly recommend them.
Love love the modcat and so does my cat. Great quality and design. The ease of cleaning is amazing. He has a lot of room when he uses it and minimal litter escaping…lol. Best purchase I’ve made for my cat in a long time and btw, thanks for the toy! He loves that too.
I like the built in tabs to secure the liners rather than the clips
